There are truly some interesting scenes in the film that make the proceedings a delight. The first half of the film stays true to the story, the humour is snigger-worthy and works in parts. Sounds familiar? That’s because the plot is pretty similar to Pelli Choopulu. Soon chemistry develops between the two, but what will this lead to? Though reluctant, the latter agrees to help her set up her business for some pocket money. When Vennela is in a hurry to achieve her dreams before tying the knot, she meets Siddhu, who can help her achieve them. Vennela (Shewata Avasthi) is a budding fashion designer who is engaged to a rich, dowry-taking, toxic NRI doctor who doesn’t believe in women succeeding in their careers. He shifts to Hyderabad to switch things up.

Siddhu (Dinesh Tej) is a 25-year-old brat who lives in Bengaluru and is nursing wounds from a failed start-up. While the same team delivered a hit that went on to win a National Award, they struggle to tell a unique tale this time around. Review: Before Merise Merise hit screens, the makers banked on the fact that the film comes from a team that worked on Pelli Choopulu. How these two help each other achieve their goals forms the crux of the tale. Story: Vennela harbors big dreams of being a fashion designer and Siddhu is a struggling entrepreneur.
